We are looking for a licensed journeyman electrician to join our family-owned electrical contracting business. Because we work in all areas of the electrical field, we are looking for a motivated problem solver who WE ARE is ready to tackle any problem that comes their way. Groe Electric handles all areas of electrical work, from commercial and agricultural to residential and industrial. We are looking for someone who works great independently or in a team.
Important Job Characteristics:
*Read blueprints and other technical documents
*Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems *Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
*Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices *Repair/replace wiring and equipment using hand DIREOT and power tools 200
*Follow regulations based on the National Electric Code
*Works well with others Requirements:
*Journeyman Electrical License (lowa) *HS Diploma or GED *Work Experience as an Electrician
*Valid Driver's License
*Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
*Equipment operation capabilities
*Strong people skills
